Alberta Covid Update {October 2021} My Covid Record App!

Albertans have a different way of showing they’ve been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Premier Jason Kenney states the AB Covid Records Verifier application can be obtained like a download free on android and ios devices, giving companies using the Limitations Exemption Program a method to scan the QR codes on Albertans’ enhanced vaccine record to verify their patrons’ vaccination status.

“Enhanced vaccine records having a QR code and simple-to-use validator application are essential tools meant for our dedication to safeguard the-care system, slow multiplication, while increasing vaccination rates,” states Kenney.

Once the QR code is scanned, a eco-friendly checkmark will verify the evidence of vaccination. It displays the person’s name, birth date, and when they have been been vaccinated.

Companies are requested to look into the valid ID that suits the vaccine record for individuals aged 18 and older.

Health Minister Jason Copping adds the application doesn’t store any patrons’ private information.

“Our new evidence of vaccine record and verifier application is much more secure and simpler for Albertans and companies getting involved in our Limitations Exemption Program. It enables Albertans to simply show their vaccine record to allow them to securely do whatever they enjoy – like going to a entertainment center, gym, restaurant, or attending a sports or arts event.”

Albertans may also visit https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/the place to find access their immunization records and print them off. Vaccine records may also be printed off in a registry agent’s office.

However, by November 15, the application and QR code would be the only acceptable evidence of vaccination within the province.

Presently, about 85 percent of qualified Albertans have obtained a minumum of one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while 75.5 percent are fully immunized.
