The Carrollton Police Department reports the scene is obvious and holds lifted at schools in area following a shots fired incident was reported the 2009 mid-day.
The department reports the incident seems to become the effect of a disturbance that began at Hamburger King, 1201 S Josey Ln. No victim originates forward and police continue to discover the suspect. The weapon found was discarded nearby is within evidence.
REPORTED EARLIER: Early Friday mid-day, Sept. 23, the Carrollton Police Department reported on its social networking accounts that officials are investigating reports of shots fired in Josey Lane and Tartan Drive.
Josey Lane is closed from Crosby to Tartan at this time, the department reported just before 1:45 p.m.
The department reports it’s located ammunition but no victim or suspect. The department asks that residents steer clear of the area. All area schools take presctiption secure hold like a precaution.
